Around 200 South Africans on Saturday arranged a walk in their nation’s biggest city, Johannesburg, to call for media opportunities.

The walk agreed with what is referred to in South Africa as the “Dark Wednesday”, a day, in 1977, on which the politically-sanctioned racial segregation government banned a few daily papers.

A few nonconformists conveyed notices and banners of the Right2know Campaign. They accumulated outside the home office of the general population telecaster, where they listened to discourses conveyed by different speakers.
